Transaction Monitoring System Validation&Tuning Consultant

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing documentation for data mapping procedures with validation rules.
• Define and maintain data ingestion strategy.
• Implement and document ETL procedures.
• Develop alert scoring and prioritization approach.
• Establish performance monitoring metrics.
• Conduct periodic transaction monitoring system review processes.
• Assess functionality of implemented modules.
• Perform root cause impact analysis and support implementation to fix outliers.
• Validate transaction monitoring models, assessing effectiveness and efficiency.
• Pre‑assess effectiveness during UAT exercises, deploy new scenarios, and enhance existing scenarios with governance documentation.
• Map accounts to customers using data integration tools.
• Document comprehensive ETL processes and modify relevant ETL job scripts.
• Perform customer segmentation analysis using statistical algorithms such as k‑means, GMM, and homogeneity/heterogeneity analysis.
• Tune scenario thresholds using statistical techniques such as percentile jumps or the law of marginal diminishing returns.
• Implement and update segmentation scenarios to align with corresponding customer segments; assess scenario configurations, perform root cause analysis, and enhance logic gaps.
• Implement additional scenarios and improve existing ones, incorporating the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Criminology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, ACAMS, or ACFE.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in AML/CTF compliance, focusing on transaction monitoring systems.
• Proven experience validating and tuning enterprise‑level transaction monitoring solutions (e.g., Actimize, NICE Actimize, Oracle FCCM, SAS).
