Oracle Specialist/ Consultant, Database Administrator
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle Finance-related applications and customizations. Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects. Support Oracle Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Procurement and Purchasing. Develop interfaces and integrations between Oracle ERP and third‑party applications. Create reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, OTBI or Oracle Analytics tools.
Troubleshoot application and database issues and provide timely resolutions. Work closely with Finance and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. Perform data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and best practices. Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Oracle Development with exposure to Oracle Finance modules.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and Workflow.
- Experience in API development, data migration, and system integrations.
- Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP web services.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
