Responsibilities
- Owns & manages business initiative, product roadmap and end-to-end delivery.

- hands-on and familiar with various technology services such as Cloud Azure, AWS, microservices, CI/CD, authorization and authentication, IDP, etc.
- Digital transformation knowledge and automating and digitizing processes and solutions.
- Extensive experience in enabling business to achieve goals through deep analysis.
- Proven ability to act as advocate and advisor to enable data-based decision making.
- Prioritises service team’s priorities and goals to help meet charter and vision set by senior management. Delegates effectively. Sets the right KPIs and OKRs.
- Acts as a servant leader and creates autonomous teams.
- Oversees on-demand management and release milestones.
- Provides service strategy input, shapes and maintains the service catalogue.
- Ability to make localised decisions; beginning to work independently.
- Monitors and steers interdependencies of service teams. Manages and coordinates cross-service deliveries.
- Defines vision and value proposition along with business.
- Leads and drives Agile and Dev Ops ways of working.
- Shapes the right Agile culture, mindset and maturity.
- Liaises extensively with external vendors, internal business stakeholders and different teams within information technology.
- Provides an advisory role to business for different enhancements on processes, products and systems.
- Comes up with different proposals and solutions to resolve business problems and new enablements.
- Vendor evaluation and evaluation of SOWs.
- Guides testers on the requirements and business objectives.
- Works with business users, IT business and technical support teams and vendors, monitors and reports on progress of required tasks and maintains an emphasis on early identification and rectification of problems.
- Coordinates activities among different business and technical groups.
- Carries out assignments, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills and experience.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the issues and problems raised and proposes viable solutions within the acceptable scope.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering methodologies like SDLC e.g. Waterfall, Iterative (Agile/Scrum).
- Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions.
- Ability to lead and coach the assigned projects.
- Domain experience (banking/finance).
- Has the ability to work with senior leadership.
- Experience in vendor/partner management.
- Resolves any challenges on projects to enable the teams to deliver on time.
- Good understanding of technical application security, compliance and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting the product owner in backlog refinement to a level acceptable for the team to estimate and deliver.
- Ability to plan two steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participates in discussions and activities regarding IT project funding, resourcing and prioritization while advocating for the business as it relates to programs and projects.
- Manages one or more business programs and projects.
- Responsible for aligning programs, projects to strategic objectives and goals of respective service line working closely with product owner, service owner and portfolio lead.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
- 15+ years of experience in managing business banking and digital channels domains.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Certified in agile or scrum.
- Certified in ITIL or similar framework.
- Expert-level industry or vendor certifications are desired.
- Banking background and experience.
