The role of Delivery Manager International IT is to work very closely with International Business and internal teams within IT to deliver business requirements. Delivery Manager International IT will be responsible for handling end‑to‑end deliverables to International Business from both functional and technical standpoints, driving the team to brainstorm and finalize the business requirements in detail, obtaining confirmation from stakeholders and liaising with various teams within the IT Department for delivery.
He/She should be well versed with various banking applications used across banking domain and the bank's international locations.
- Drive the team to brainstorm and finalize the business requirements in detail.
- Obtain confirmation from stakeholders and liaise with various teams within the IT Department for delivery.
- Ensure close monitoring of the project while providing senior management with periodic updates, including status reports, key challenges, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project work plans in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Evaluate and manage vendors.
- Minimum 15 years of experience with strong banking domain understanding and hands‑on experience executing large and complex programs.
- Hands‑on experience in payments related projects, preferably across international regions with a focus on the GCC region.
- Experience in business analysis and system implementation.
- Knowledge of business process reengineering principles, best practices, and methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
- Good knowledge of banking products life cycle.
- Focus on quality of deliverables to ensure long‑term stability of the system.
- Experience in vendor evaluation and vendor management.
- Relevant certifications are desirable.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to gain trust of main interaction points within the bank, both with IT internal teams and business units.
- Ability to understand system design and articulate business requirements.
- Effort and cost estimation to arrive at the budget.
- Dynamic, flexible with a high level of energy and positive outlook.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Project (MPP), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- User management and facilitation skills.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving.
