IT Manager

We are supporting a Semi‑Government entity in Abu Dhabi in their search for an IT Manager to lead and develop the organisation's technology function. This is a managerial position within a structured, service‑led environment, offering the opportunity to oversee core IT operations while supporting the organisation's long‑term digital strategy.

Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring technology services are secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

• Lead the organisation's IT function across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and end‑user support.
• Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of IT services, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and operational excellence.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and technology capabilities.
• Develop and implement IT policies, governance frameworks, and best practices to support business continuity and security.
• Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers, ensuring quality delivery and value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small internal IT team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organisational priorities and future growth.

• Proven experience leading enterprise IT operations across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and service delivery.
• Strong background in managing IT teams, technology vendors, and operational support functions.
• Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives and improving technology capabilities.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational leadership.
• Previous experience within government, semi‑government, or other highly structured organisations is preferred.
