Head – Data & AI

Aldar Education, a leading education group in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Head of Data & AI to drive the organization’s AI strategy, data governance, analytics, and innovation across its network of schools.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to understand data needs and communicate the value of data-driven insights.
• Lead data analytics initiatives, identify KPIs, and develop data-driven solutions in partnership with the Group Technology Data Team.
• Drive AI strategy and implementation, ensuring Aldar remains a pioneer in AI-enabled education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and set data management standards for school information systems such as iSams and Power School.
• Promote a data-driven culture, provide training, and encourage knowledge sharing across departments.
• Stay current on emerging trends in data management and analytics, advising on technology evaluation and integration.
• Assess data-related risks, develop mitigation strategies, and coordinate with Infra & Data Teams to implement security measures.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of data initiatives, preparing regular reports for executive leadership.
• Comply with Aldar Information Security Policies and ensure sensitive data is protected.

• Comply with Aldar Information Security Policies.
• Ensure responsible handling of sensitive information and completion of Security Awareness Training.
• Report security incidents to IT Service Desk or Info Sec.
• Maintain authorized use of accounts, privileges, and passwords.
• Maintain confidentiality and accountability for user accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum Experience

• 10 to 15 plus years of industry experience.
• 8+ years in Data and AI functional roles.
