Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Specialist with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in design, implementation, and operational support of enterprise‑wide asset management frameworks. The role demands deep expertise in governance, lifecycle management, tooling, and process optimization across IT hardware assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end Hardware Asset Management frameworks aligned with ITIL/ISO 19770 standards
  • Establish governance models, policies, and compliance controls for hardware assets
  • Design CMDB and asset data models
    , ensuring accuracy and normalization
2. Implementation & Transformation
  • Lead HAM tool implementation and integration (greenfield/brownfield environments)
  • Implement solutions such as Service Now HAM Pro, SCCM/Intune, Flexera, or equivalent tools
  • Drive data discovery, reconciliation, and normalization strategies
  • Integrate HAM with procurement, finance, and ITSM systems
  • Define and implement automation workflows for asset tracking and lifecycle management
3. Operations & Support
  • Manage day‑to‑day HAM operations and support activities
  • Ensure real‑time asset visibility and inventory accuracy across locations
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Support audits, reporting, and governance reviews
  • Handle incident/problem management related to asset discrepancies
4. Asset Lifecycle & Optimization
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle planning, refresh cycles, and disposal processes
  • Manage vendor coordination, warranty tracking, and contract compliance
  • Identify and drive cost optimization opportunities (reuse, redeployment, rationalization)
5. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and publish MIS dashboards, KPIs, and asset reports
  • Provide insights on utilization, compliance, and risk exposure
  • Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and audit teams
  • Engage with stakeholders for continuous improvement and governance alignment
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Hardware Asset Management (pure HAM focus)
  • Strong exposure to implementation, design, and support of HAM solutions
  • Hands‑on experience with Service Now HAM Pro (preferred) or equivalent platforms
  • Expertise in CMDB, discovery tools, and asset reconciliation processes
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Configuration)
  • Experience in audit handling, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and data management capabilities
Preferred Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation / Intermediate
  • Service Now HAM / ITAM Certifications
  • ISO 19770 (IT Asset Management)
