Main Accountabilities
The System Engineer will be responsible for managing, integrating, and optimizing enterprise applications including Hexagon EAM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central, and data analytics platforms such as Big Query, Data Lake, Google Data Studio, and Power BI. This role demands strong techno‑functional expertise with a deep understanding of maintenance plant operations, stores & inventory procurement, and finance processes. The candidate should also possess solid programming and database management skills, particularly in SQL and C#, to support integration customization and troubleshooting across systems.
TechnicalTasks Enterprise Application Management
- Administer and provide functional and technical support for Hexagon EAM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and Business Central.
- Ensure smooth integration between EAM/ERP and analytics platforms, including managing middleware solutions and APIs.
- Coordinate with functional teams to address system queries related to maintenance, plant operations, inventory procurement, and finance.
- Oversee application upgrades, patching, and database optimization while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Manage and maintain Google Big Query datasets, Data Lake repositories, and their pipelines from enterprise systems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Google Data Studio and Power BI to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Optimize data processing workflows to ensure timely and accurate reporting across departments.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users to translate operational needs into effective system solutions.
- Provide process improvement recommendations based on system data and analytics.
- Support end‑users with training, troubleshooting, and enhancements to maximize system utilization.
- Design, develop, and maintain integration scripts and tools using SQL and C#.
- Implement automation and data validation processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Customize ERP and EAM modules to align with evolving business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar techno‑functional role, preferably in an industrial or plant operations environment.
- Prior experience as a techno‑functional consultant is highly preferred.
- Expertise in Hexagon EAM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central.
- Strong SQL programming and database management skills.
- Proficiency in C# with experience in middleware and API development.
- Experience with Google Big Query, Data Lake architecture, Google Data Studio, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of ERP/EAM functional areas, including maintenance, plant operations, procurement, inventory, and finance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a business process mindset.
- Proven ability to work in a techno‑functional consultant capacity.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
