Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive data management framework ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the organization to maintain data integrity, quality, and security.
- Develop and manage the data lifecycle from creation and acquisition to storage, usage, archiving, and disposal.
- Oversee the implementation of data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tracking solutions.
8-12 years of experience in:
- Data projects delivery
- Technology transformation
- Data governance / data platform implementation
- Proven hands-on delivery experience (not just governance or reporting)
- Experience in banking / financial services highly preferred
- Experience delivering Data Management Framework or similar programs
- PMP / PRINCE2
- Agile / SAFe
- Exposure to regulatory environments (CBUAE, BCBS 239)
Basic to intermediate understanding of:
- Data governance concepts
- Data quality processes
- Data lineage and metadata
