We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer who thrives in a fast‑paced Agile IT environment and is passionate about exploring new BI technologies to drive data‑driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership within development and operations.
- Take technical authority in cross‑departmental meetings, evaluate proposals from suppliers, and implement recommendations.
- Lead hands‑on development, operation and continuous improvement of services.
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high‑quality code, services and dashboards aligned with project goals and delivery cycles.
- Work with product managers to understand user needs for existing and new services, and support them.
- Conduct business analysis initiatives, including requirement gathering, stakeholder management and solution definition.
- Design, develop, test and deploy complex interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau.
- Support production BI reporting for senior stakeholders and board members.
- Implement and query databases/data stores as per the BI design, writing SQL or No
SQL queries. - Develop, enhance and maintain reports, dashboards and data models.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prototype, evaluate technical options, write tests, code and documentation.
- Advise on best practices, assist in budgeting and manage the BI team, providing feedback and performance management.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Recent experience designing and implementing complex data‑visualization projects.
- Experience with report development, business analytics, and BI tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including live and extracted data sources.
- Ability to design efficient data models.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Airflow or ELT workflows.
- In‑depth knowledge of data‑visualization best practices and interfacing Tableau with external data sources.
- Experience with cloud‑based BI/data‑analytics solutions (Tableau, etc.).
- Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries for databases or data stores.
- Exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
