Senior Web Methods Developer & Administrator

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions using the web Methods suite.
• Ensure seamless data flow between diverse applications and systems.
• Lead the architecture and deployment of robust integration platforms, optimizing performance and scalability for enterprise-level demands.
• Administer and maintain the web Methods environment, including installation, configuration, patching, and monitoring to ensure high availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions to minimize business disruption.

• 8+ years of overall integration/middleware experience, with 5+ years hands‑on in web Methods (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging).
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and messaging protocols.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, services, networking, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting (YAML, Shell, Python, or similar).
• Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and data engineering/transformation tasks.
• Solid understanding of clustering and high‑availability concepts (Terracotta, load balancers, shared databases).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.
• Software AG web Methods certification (preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with API management tools beyond web Methods.
• Prior experience presenting architecture/design to technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
