We are currently looking for an AI Transformation Manager to support a key initiative within the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) on a 12-month freelance contract.

DCT Abu Dhabi is the government entity responsible for driving the sustainable growth of Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism sectors, playing a central role in positioning the emirate as a global hub for culture, creativity, and tourism.

This role sits within a high-impact transformation program focused on driving the organization towards becoming an AI-first workplace. The AI Transformation Manager will lead the design, implementation, and adoption of AI-enabled workflows, tools, and ways of working across the organization to improve productivity, quality, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate enterprise and departmental strategy into practical AI-enabled workflows, tools, and ways of working
  • Identify high-impact use cases for AI adoption across functions and teams
  • Design and implement AI-enabled operating models and workflow automations
  • Embed AI tools into day-to-day business processes to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making
  • Develop governance principles for responsible, secure, and effective AI usage
AI Workflow Design & Implementation
  • Develop, structure, and maintain scalable AI workflows, automations, and knowledge systems across the organization
  • Design and deploy AI-assisted workflows using approved enterprise AI platforms and tools
  • Build reusable prompts, templates, agents, copilots, and automation frameworks
  • Integrate AI capabilities into reporting, analysis, presentation development, document review, and operational processes
  • Ensure workflows align with organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements
  • Continuously optimize workflows based on user feedback and performance metrics
AI Transformation & Change Management
  • Support the organization’s broader AI transformation agenda through structured implementation and adoption initiatives
  • Drive AI adoption initiatives across teams and business units
  • Define AI operating procedures, standards, and best practices
  • Conduct impact assessments and identify further opportunities for AI integration
  • Establish frameworks to measure AI adoption, productivity gains, and business impact
  • Maintain oversight of AI tool usage, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
AI Capability Building & Training
  • Lead the upskilling and enablement of teams to effectively leverage AI tools and ways of working
  • Design and deliver AI training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions
  • Develop user guides, playbooks, prompt libraries, and knowledge-sharing resources
  • Coach teams and leadership on effective AI usage and workflow integration
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and responsible AI adoption
  • Act as the primary point of contact for AI support and user enablement across the organization
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in AI implementation, digital transformation, automation, enterprise technology consulting, or transformation roles
  • Experience gained from a top-tier consulting firm, leading technology company, or enterprise transformation function
  • Strong experience translating business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions and measurable outcomes
  • Experience working within regulated, governed, or enterprise technology environments
  • Ability to define measurable goals, drive implementation, and deliver tangible impact
  • Strong understanding of AI tools, automation, and enterprise workflow design
  • Ability to identify use cases and convert them into practical implementation plans
  • Strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and business process redesign skills
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly governed environments
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and training skills
  • Proactive, hands‑on, and outcome-oriented mindset
Experience & Exposure
  • Exposure to enterprise AI implementation and workflow automation
