- Bachelor s or Master s degree in data management, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and or enterprise data strategy
- Proven experience in designing, implementing and operationalizing enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models
- Hands-on experience in dataset inventory, data catalog implementation, data classification, and data quality rule definition
- Experience working with data governance and catalog tools (e.g., Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview or similar)
- Has experience ensuring governance is applied and enforced within systems and processes
- Can balance business, governance, and technical requirements
