The role serves as the primary ICT point of contact at branch level and performs locally delegated IT management responsibilities, in close coordination with other Intesa Sanpaolo IT personnel in the UAE and relevant Head Office ICT functions. You will ensure the effective functioning, availability, security, and resilience of all branch ICT systems and infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing- Ensure the update, maintenance, and proper functioning of the branch ICT environment.
- Supervise the availability and performance of hardware and software systems to ensure uninterrupted service to users.
- Support all branch critical AS400 procedures (SIRE, Safewatch, Swift Alliance).
- Provide 1st level troubleshooting and liaise with Head Office ICT departments for escalation and resolution.
- Support and locally coordinate ICT projects for the branch, including primary and secondary (DR) sites.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and management of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
- Coordinate ICT‑related BCP/DR testing activities and ensure alignment with Group policies and regulatory expectations.
- Manage and grant application access.
- Ensure compliance with internal ICT security standards and support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provide ICT support for business activities, including videoconferencing and telecommunication services.
- 3-5 years of experience in the role
- University degree from a related discipline
- Good command of English
- Good command of MS Office applications
