HPC and Storage Technology Consultant

Responsibilities

• Cover the support and delivery of high-end HPC solutions for customers.
• Work as part of a team of HPC experts, with minimal supervision.
• Support and deliver both hardware and software for massively parallel supercomputer systems, clusters, and storage systems on a 24/7 basis.
• Be on standby and available when needed.
• Support the pre‑sales team in scoping and sizing HPC services when required.
• Manage day‑to‑day HPC support and maintenance for the key account at UAE–Abu Dhabi.
• Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with appropriate autonomy and expertise, coordinating with L2 and L3.
• Address issues requiring specialized intervention.
• Collaborate with team members, internal organizations, customers, and third parties such as DDN, Red Hat, Cool IT, Nvidia, etc.
• Manage the customer relationship, including verbal and written communication.
• Research HPC documentation and complete required training to maintain and develop HPC skills.

• At least four years of service experience.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Knowledge of High Performance Computing technologies and/or enterprise‑level storage systems, and/or HPC applications.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with HPC hardware support or related industries is advantageous.
• Experience in running day‑to‑day operations, hardware break‑fix and administration of HPC systems at the client site.
• Advanced customer‑service skills and customer‑facing communication.
• Willingness to relocate to the United Arab Emirates.
