About the Role

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is looking for a talented and experienced Manager of Data Science Operations to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the airline’s analytics transformation, driving cost savings, increasing efficiency, and boosting revenue.

As a Manager Data Science, Operations, you will lead a team of 3-5 data scientists, developing and maintaining cutting‑edge technologies and models tailored to airline operations. Your expertise will be crucial in developing advanced analytical models (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive) to optimize network, fuel efficiency, and overall operations.

• Develop and maintain advanced analytical models.
• Monitor model performance and provide actionable insights.
• Research and propose enhancements to business processes.
• Monitor and refine models to meet evolving business needs.
• Track stakeholder feedback and satisfaction.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud‑based data warehouses.
• Experience in building and deploying analytical models.
• Experience in the aviation/travel industry is preferred.
