Technical Data Analyst

KeyRoles & Responsibilities
- Discover and inventory enterprise data sources across the organization.
- Collaborate with application owners and SMEs to gather technical and business data requirements.
- Document source systems, technologies, interfaces, and data ownership.
- Capture data characteristics, including volumes, refresh frequencies, retention, and growth trends.
- Identify and document data ingestion methods, CDC capabilities, and system dependencies.
- Assess and record existing data quality issues.
- Maintain and update the enterprise data source inventory.
- Validate collected information with data architects and engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support data platform planning and prioritization workshops.
3 + years of experience in data analysis, data management, or technical business analysis.
Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases and integration patterns.
Familiarity with APIs, file-based integration, and messaging concepts.
Experience with Excel, Confluence, Jira, and data cataloging tools.
Banking or financial services experience is desirable.
