Network Administrator

A UAE Holding Company based in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Network Administrator for a newly created position, working closely with the IT Director
. You’ll be hands-on across network availability, user support, access control, backups, and documentation — supporting around 150 users
.

We’re looking for someone practical and proactive: you prevent downtime, keep systems tidy, and can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues.

Salary: AED 6,500 – 7,000 (for the right candidate)

• Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity and network equipment
• Monitor network health and perform maintenance to ensure high availability for all users
• Build proactive preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and hardware faults
• Provision hardware/software in line with internal business and security policies
• Maintain servers and associated services/settings; support storage/file system upgrades safely
• Create and manage network users/permissions and access controls
• Implement and manage backup + disaster recovery
  , protecting data integrity and redundancy
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
• Test releases/changes to ensure compatibility and minimise user disruption
• Produce clear technical documentation for systems, fixes, and support processes

• Hands-on VMware experience (must-have) (ESXi / vSphere strongly preferred)
• Microsoft 365 administration
• CCTV experience
• Experience supporting ~
  150 users
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science
• Minimum 2 years UAE experience as a Network Administrator
• Minimum 4 years overall networking experience
• Cisco switches/routers preferred
• Certifications a plus:
  MCSE / CISSP / CCNA / CCNP
