Functional QA Analyst – Mobile Banking (Banking Domain)

We are looking for an experienced Functional QA Lead with a strong background in Digital Banking and Mobile Banking applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in end-to-end functional testing, integration testing, API validation, defect management, and Agile methodologies.

The candidate should be capable of understanding complex banking business processes, analyzing requirements, preparing comprehensive test artifacts, and ensuring delivery of high-quality banking applications.

• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Participate in requirement clarification sessions with Business Analysts and Product Owners.
• Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Estimation.
• Identify functional and non-functional test scenarios.
• Design comprehensive test cases with complete requirement traceability.
• Execute Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and UAT support.
• Perform API validation using Postman or SOAP UI.
• Identify defects, reproduce issues, and log detailed defects in JIRA.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for production and UAT defects.
• Coordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Dev Ops teams for issue resolution.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Validate production releases and perform post-deployment sanity testing.
• Support SIT, UAT, and Production deployments.
• Ensure all testing deliverables meet project quality standards.

• Minimum 8 years of Functional Testing experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of Digital Banking or Mobile Banking testing experience.
• Strong understanding of Banking products and customer journeys.
• Experience in complex enterprise applications involving multiple integrated systems.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience in Banking Digital Transformation projects is highly preferred.

Banking Knowledge

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• Corporate Banking
• Bill Payments
• Beneficiary Management

Experience in:

• Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Functional Testing
• Sanity Testing
• Smoke Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support

Hands-on experience with:
