We are seeking an experienced, well-rounded
* Senior Solution & Network Architect
* to design and own the architecture for a Cyber Vault environment — an isolated, resilient infrastructure platform for secure data protection, backup, and rapid recovery. This is not a cloud-only role: the successful candidate will need to demonstrate genuine architecture ownership across cloud, network, infrastructure, and security domains, not implementation or administration‑level experience alone. The ideal candidate will have led the definition of high‑level architecture, standards, and strategy on enterprise‑scale environments — not just built or maintained systems designed by others.
- - Own end-to-end architecture design for a Cyber Vault environment: isolated, immutable backup and recovery infrastructure built for cyber resilience and rapid ransomware recovery
- - Define target-state architecture, high-level and low-level design (HLD/LLD), reference architectures, and technology roadmaps
- - Architect secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure, including compute, storage, and networking layers
- - Design and govern secrets management architecture (Hashi Corp Vault or equivalent enterprise secrets/Cyber Vault platform)
- - Architect backup and disaster recovery solutions leveraging SAN/NAS storage and enterprise backup platforms (Rubrik, Veeam, or similar)
- - Design and own network architecture, including WAN/inter‑office connectivity, routing, and security using enterprise‑grade network hardware (Juniper, Cisco)
- - Contribute to or own 5G and connectivity architecture where relevant to the environment
- - Define and enforce security architecture standards:
Zero Trust principles, IAM/RBAC governance, encryption, and compliance alignment (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS as applicable) - - Chair or contribute to architecture/design review boards, governing changes to the environment
- - Collaborate with client architects and stakeholders (including ADNOC‑adjacent teams) to align architecture decisions with enterprise standards and security requirements
- - Produce and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams (e.g. C4 model, UML), and governance artefacts
- - 10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, with demonstrated progression into a genuine architecture‑ownership role (not administration or implementation‑only)
- - Proven track record designing (not just deploying) cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure
- - Hands‑on architecture experience with secrets management platforms — Hashi Corp Vault or equivalent Cyber Vault / immutable‑backup solutions
- - Strong background in enterprise backup and disaster recovery architecture: SAN/NAS storage, Rubrik, Veeam, or equivalent
- - Security architecture experience:
Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, encryption, compliance frameworks - - Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi or equivalent)
- - Exposure to 5G or telecom‑adjacent connectivity architecture is a strong plus
- - Experience working within or alongside large enterprise, government, or energy‑sector environments preferred (UAE/GCC experience a plus)
- - Excellent stakeholder management and ability to act as a technical liaison between architecture, security, network, and delivery teams
- - Relevant certifications: AWS/Azure Solutions Architect (Professional/Expert level), Cisco/Juniper certifications, security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or similar)
- - Experience chairing or participating in a formal design/architecture authority
- - Prior experience in cybersecurity‑regulated or critical infrastructure environments
