The role focuses on maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environments while supporting critical business operations.
As an L2 Azure Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Azure infrastructure, implementing automation, monitoring platform performance, and ensuring business continuity through backup and disaster recovery solutions. Working with modern cloud technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, Git Hub Actions, and Azure Virtual Desktop, you will contribute to enterprise cloud transformation initiatives while enhancing your technical expertise and long-term career growth through continuous professional development and cloud platform experience.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Manage Azure networking, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor and implement proactive performance improvements.
- Configure and manage Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Automate operational tasks using Power Shell and Azure CLI.
- Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Configure and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
- Follow ITIL best practices and manage service requests through Service Now.
- Troubleshoot cloud platform issues while ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Microsoft Azure platform administration and cloud operations.
