Data Scientist

We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join our Abu Dhabi team

• Design develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning and deep learning models using Python and Py Torch
• Build and fine-tune large language models LLMs for NLP tasks such as text classification information extraction and conversational AI
• Conduct statistical analysis data exploration and feature engineering to support model development
• Collaborate with data engineers to design scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and present findings to senior leadership
• Optimize and monitor model performance in production implementing retraining and continuous improvement processes
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists fostering best practices in coding modeling and experimentation

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Expertise in Python programming with strong coding and debugging skills
• Proven experience with PyTorch for building and training deep learning models
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling
• Hands-on experience developing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs)
• Strong background in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and toolkits
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, AI, or Data Science
• Experience deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Domain experience in oil & gas, finance, or government sectors
• Proven leadership experience managing small technical teams or data science projects
• Publications or contributions to open-source machine learning libraries
