Marc Ellis is seeking a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join a major technology initiative in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and secure infrastructure management, enabling scalable, resilient, and automated enterprise platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code methodologies. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, security, and architecture teams to build scalable and reliable environments that support business-critical applications. The role requires deep expertise in Azure cloud services, Terraform, Ansible, automation frameworks, and infrastructure lifecycle management. You will play a key role in implementing security controls, optimizing infrastructure performance, and driving automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency.

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry best practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management processes.
• Develop reusable and scalable infrastructure templates using Terraform, Azure ARM, and Ansible.
• Manage infrastructure code repositories using Git and version control methodologies.
• Collaborate with development, operations, security, and architecture teams to implement automation strategies.
• Implement infrastructure validation, testing, compliance, and security controls.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, patching, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or Dev Ops experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including Subnets, VLANs, Routing, Firewalls, and DNS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, access control, and encryption technologies.
• Scripting expertise in Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Git and source code/version control best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering and Dev Ops teams.

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability frameworks.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Terraform Associate, or Dev Ops Engineer Expert.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise cloud transformation projects.
