This role focuses on integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle, ensuring cloud infrastructure, applications, containers, and CI/CD pipelines remain secure, compliant, and resilient in modern enterprise environments.

As a Dev Sec Ops Engineer, you will play a critical role in strengthening the organization’s security posture by embedding security controls into development, deployment, and operational processes. You will work closely with Dev Ops, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to automate security testing, secure cloud environments, and implement best practices across containerized and cloud-native platforms. The position requires hands‑on expertise with CI/CD automation, Kubernetes security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security frameworks, and application security testing tools.
You will proactively identify vulnerabilities, support compliance initiatives, and drive security automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for security‑focused Dev Ops professionals looking to work on enterprise‑scale cloud and automation projects.
- Integrate security controls and best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform secure code reviews and automate application security testing processes.
- Implement and manage SAST, DAST, and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications for vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance violations.
- Secure cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security standards and governance.
- Implement container security best practices for Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure software delivery.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Support incident response, security monitoring, and risk management initiatives.
- Develop automation scripts and security workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain security documentation, standards, and implementation procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of Dev Ops, Dev Sec Ops , Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security experience.
- Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, and Git Lab CI.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container security best practices.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security controls.
- Hands‑on experience with SAST tools such as Sonar Qube, Checkmarx, or equivalent.
- Experience with DAST tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of dependency scanning and software supply chain security tools.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or other automation scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of Dev Sec Ops methodologies and secure SDLC practices.
- Experience with vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance controls.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- AWS Security, Azure Security, or Google Cloud security certifications.
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
- Hashi Corp Terraform experience.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and security monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security architecture and cloud-native security frameworks.
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, or other cybersecurity certifications.
