Marc Ellis is seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to drive infrastructure automation, cloud enablement, and platform reliability initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Terraform, Azure, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) who are passionate about building secure, scalable, and highly automated platforms.

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies. You will work closely with development, operations, cloud, and security teams to automate provisioning, standardize deployments, and improve platform reliability across cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires deep technical expertise in Azure infrastructure, Terraform, Ansible, automation frameworks, and infrastructure governance.

You will contribute to cloud transformation initiatives, implement security and compliance controls, optimize operational processes, and support enterprise-grade deployment pipelines. • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Azure-native technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and secure infrastructure templates and modules.
• Implement and manage Azure infrastructure services across enterprise environments.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops, Development, Operations, and Security teams to deliver automated solutions.
• Implement infrastructure testing, validation, governance, and compliance controls.
• Manage infrastructure source code repositories using Git and version-control best practices.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, and deployment-related issues.
• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Dev Ops roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and services.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience managing both cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.
• Solid networking knowledge including Subnets, VLANs, Routing, Firewalls, and DNS.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, access controls, and encryption standards.
• Scripting experience using Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong experience with Git and source code management workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace and Prometheus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing Dev Ops and automation best practices within enterprise environments.

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops pipelines and CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust and cloud security frameworks.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Azure, Hashi Corp Terraform, or Dev Ops-related professional certifications.
