Director Advanced Technology; EMIRATI

We are hiring Director – Advanced Technology for an Abu Dhabi based opportunity.

This is a senior technology leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who can lead enterprise technology operations, strengthen digital resilience, and ensure infrastructure and application capabilities support wider business priorities.

• Shape the technology operating model and ensure infrastructure, platforms, and digital solutions evolve in line with business priorities and future growth.
• Create a resilient technology environment by strengthening continuity planning, recovery readiness, service stability, and response to critical operational issues.
• Drive improvements in how technology services are delivered, using performance insights, service data, and user feedback to raise efficiency and service quality.
• Provide oversight across technology architecture and integration, ensuring systems work effectively together and can support changing organisational requirements.
• Set clear controls around technology delivery, including upgrades, changes, releases, security practices, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Build strong relationships with technology partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring suppliers, teams, and service providers deliver against agreed expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications considered an advantage.
• Proven leadership experience managing broad technology environments covering infrastructure, enterprise systems, applications, or digital services.
• Strong understanding of technology architecture, operational governance, information security, service delivery, and organisational resilience.
• Ability to lead complex technology initiatives, resolve high-impact operational challenges, and balance business needs with technical priorities.
• Strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial/vendor management capabilities within a complex organisational environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic is required;
  English capability and professional certifications such as PMP or CompTIA are advantageous.
