The Role
This position leads technical and forensic investigations into illegal online commercial gaming, covering domain analysis, infrastructure mapping, evidence preservation and regulatory enforcement support. A smaller proportion of the work provides specialist technical assistance to suitability and licensing investigations, alongside developing the organisation's broader forensic capabilities and procedures.
Skills & ExperienceCandidates require hands-on expertise in OSINT techniques including WHOIS, RDAP, passive DNS, certificate transparency and metadata analysis, alongside experience investigating hosting infrastructure, payment channels and cryptocurrency. Familiarity with geo-blocking, VPN detection, mobile applications and API analysis is essential, as is experience preserving digital evidence to evidential standards.
