The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting Mwasalat Holdings' digital assets across all six operating entities by implementing, managing, and optimising security technologies, monitoring threats, responding to security incidents, performing penetration testing and offensive validation, and ensuring compliance with internal and external security standards.
The role requires hands-on expertise across network, application, cloud, endpoint, identity, and security operations domains, together with the ability to conduct and oversee offensive security testing. The role provides security assurance for the active cloud ERP implementation and the unified digital platform programme.

AdditionalSkills Required:
Hands-on experience across the following technical domains:
- Enterprise next-generation firewalls and centralised firewall management
- Endpoint detection and response platforms and managed detection and response models
- Secure email gateway and security awareness platform administration
- Major cloud platform security (identity, network, logging, workload protection)
- Application security: threat modelling, secure code review, SAST, DAST, SCA, web application firewall configuration, OWASP Top Ten, API Top Ten, ASVS
- Penetration testing across infrastructure, web, mobile, APIs, and cloud, including managing external test engagements
- SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, and log analysis
- Cloud ERP security: role design, segregation of duties, integration and connector security
- Vulnerability and patch management across infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and cloud
Experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, UAE PDPL, and UAE Information Assurance Standards.
