AVEVA OSI PI Solution Consultant

A reputable industrial software and engineering company in the oil and gas sector is looking to hire a Full-Time Technical Solution Consultant.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AVEVA PI system is required
• PI site implementation experience is required
• Experience of Windows Server setup, Networking and understanding of IT structure
• Experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the hardware and software components on different network levels
• AVEVA PI certification is required
• Holds a transferable residency in GCC is a plus
• Preferably currently living in Abu Dhabi, UAE is a plus
• Ability to drive on a regular basis to client sites within UAE
• Driver license is required
• Client interface as needed for any of the following: software implementation or upgrade, problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, training, etc.

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) and Windows Server (2012+).
• Strong Knowledge on PI System Core, Asset Framework (AF), Visualization, Data Integration, Scripting & Development, IT & Infrastructure, Cloud & Modern Architecture, Domain Knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision.
• Strong presentation and training delivery skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and manage client-facing responsibilities.
• High commitment to quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software technologies.
