Job DescriptionThe Senior IT Officer at Capital Motionis responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure across all hospitality and F&B venues. This includes hardware, software,networking, POS systems, and user support. The role ensures smooth technologyoperations, data security, and system reliability to support business continuity and enhance guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and monitor all hardware and software systems including servers, workstations, printers,and network devices.
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity and secure network access across all venues.
- Manage system updates,backups, and antivirus protection.
User Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support tostaff across departments and venues.
- Troubleshoot hardware,software, and connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Train staff on basic ITprocedures and system usage when necessary.
POS & Hospitality Systems Support
- Maintain and support Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and ensure integration with reporting tools.
- Coordinate with vendors forsystem upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth operation ofreservation, inventory, and guest management systems.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and monitorcybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT policies.
- Manage user access control sand permissions.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Coordinate with external ITservice providers and vendors for procurement and support.
- Assist in evaluating andrecommending new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain documentation of ITsystems, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports onsystem performance, incidents, and IT-related expenditures.
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Support remote access and mobile device management.
- Manage email systems and cloud-based tools.
- Assist in setting up AV equipment for meetings and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in ITsupport or systems administration, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
- Strong knowledge of Windows andMac OS environments, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with POS systems and hospitality software (e.g., Oracle, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to support venuesduring evenings, weekends, or events as needed.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
- The work location isYas Island, Abu Dhabi.
