Job Description:

Program Manager – Transport Technology Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are supporting an international technology company with the appointment of a Program Manager to lead the delivery of a major transport technology program in Abu Dhabi.

This is a complex, multi-workstream program combining software delivery, transport systems, systems integration and physical technology deployment
. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for program governance, coordination and delivery across internal teams, the customer, technology partners and subcontractors.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a complex transport technology program across multiple parallel work streams
• Managing a delivery environment of approximately 30–50 people across internal teams, partners and contractors
• Overseeing software implementation, systems integration and physical technology deployment
• Establishing strong program governance, reporting and controls
• Managing delivery plans, quality plans, communication plans, risks, dependencies and key milestones
• Managing senior customer and stakeholder relationships
• Coordinating third-party technology providers, subcontractors and delivery partners
• Ensuring delivery against challenging timelines and agreed outcomes
• Supporting the transition from implementation into ongoing operations and maintenance
• Ensuring an effective operational handover following program delivery

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience leading large, complex, multi-workstream technology programs
.

Ideally, you will have worked within transport technology, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), public transport, smart mobility, automated vehicle monitoring (AVM/AVL), ticketing/AFC, fleet technology or other technology-led transport environments
.

You should also bring:

• Strong software / IT implementation experience
• Experience managing multiple work streams and delivery teams simultaneously
• Strong program governance and structured delivery capability
• Knowledge of methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2 or similar
• Experience managing customers, technology partners, vendors and subcontractors
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
• The ability to operate effectively within complex, customer-facing delivery environments

Experience delivering government or public-sector technology programs would be particularly relevant.

Arabic language capability and previous experience delivering programs in the UAE or wider Middle East would also be advantageous.
