Senior Network & Security Engineer/Senior Network Consultant
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer / Senior Network Consultant to provide onsite network and security consultancy and technical support within a large enterprise environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across L1, L2, and L3
, while working within an ITIL framework
. The role may require after-hours and weekend support, including remote or onsite assistance outside normal working hours.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure within a large enterprise environment.
- Provide L1, L2, and L3 network troubleshooting and technical support
. - Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues.
- Monitor network infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues.
- Support network and security infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
- Perform network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work within established ITIL processes and service management frameworks
. - Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve network and security incidents.
- Provide technical consultancy and recommendations for network and security improvements.
- Support incident resolution, escalation, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting records.
- Support network monitoring activities, including the use of Manage Engine or similar monitoring tools where applicable.
- Provide support outside normal working hours, including after-hours and weekends
, when required. - Provide remote or onsite technical support based on operational requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
. - Minimum 5–7 years of hands‑on experience managing and maintaining large enterprise network environments.
- CCNP certification is mandatory.
- Strong experience in enterprise networking and network troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to provide L1, L2, and L3 network support
. - Experience working within an ITIL framework
. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in the UAE for the full 1‑year consultancy engagement
. - Flexibility to provide support outside normal working hours, including weekends, when required.
- CCIE
- Fortinet NSE
- F5 Certified BIG‑IP Administrator
- CISSP
- Penetration Testing experience.
- Experience with Manage Engine monitoring tools
. - Previous experience supporting UAE Government / Public Sector customers is highly preferred.
Previous experience working with UAE Government or Public Sector customers is highly preferred.
For the overall engagement, the bidder/organization is expected to have at least 2 years of experience with government, public‑sector, or judicial customers
