Employment Type: Full-Time

Duration: 12 months, annual renewal

Start Date: ASAP

About the role

Forsyth Barnes are supporting a leading organisation in the UAE with the appointment of an Oracle Fusion Application Support & Product Analyst
.

This is a mid-level role combining Oracle Fusion application support, vendor management and junior product ownership. The successful candidate will become the internal single point of contact for Oracle Fusion
, supporting users day to day while also taking ownership of requirements, enhancements and future developments.

This is not a traditional Level 1 support position. The expectation is that the successful candidate will have enough Oracle Fusion experience for day-to-day support to be relatively straightforward, allowing them to focus increasingly on platform ownership, vendor management and product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for Oracle Fusion.
  • Provide functional support to internal users across the Oracle Fusion environment.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets, escalating more complex issues to external vendors where required.
  • Oversee Level 2 support activity with external vendors and ensure issues are progressed through to resolution.
  • Monitor ticket pipelines, outstanding actions, vendor performance and overall platform health.
  • Gather, document and refine business and functional requirements for system improvements.
  • Support the prioritisation of enhancements, fixes and future Oracle developments.
  • Work with vendors through requirements, solution design, testing and implementation.
  • Participate in UAT and ensure delivered functionality meets business requirements.
  • Act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and external Oracle partners.
  • Build strong relationships with business users and provide a high standard of internal customer support.
  • Support the ongoing development of the Oracle Fusion roadmap and gradually take on greater product ownership.
  • 4–5+ years of hands‑on Oracle Fusion experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion within a live enterprise environment.
  • Previous experience supporting internal business users and resolving application‑related issues.
  • Experience working with Oracle vendors, implementation partners or managed service providers.
  • Exposure to product ownership, product management, business analysis or requirements gathering.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements through requirements, testing and implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer‑facing communication skills.
Core Requirements

The three key non-negotiables are:

Strong practical experience working within Oracle Fusion and the ability to independently understand and investigate issues.

The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting internal users, managing expectations and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and ownership

The role requires someone who actively monitors tickets, vendors, outstanding actions, system health and business requirements rather than operating reactively.

Suitable candidates are likely to come from backgrounds such as:

  • Oracle Fusion Functional Analyst
  • Oracle Fusion Application Support Analyst
  • ERP Application Analyst
  • Oracle Fusion Business Analyst
  • ERP Product Analyst
  • Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant

The strongest profile will combine hands‑on Oracle Fusion knowledge with strong user-facing skills and some exposure to product ownership or business analysis.

Candidates coming purely from Level 1 helpdesk environments are unlikely to have the depth required. Equally, this is not a senior strategic Product Manager position. The requirement sits between the two, with a clear opportunity to develop further into ERP product ownership and platform management.
