Deputy Director of Advanced Technology Department

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of both Infrastructure and Smart Applications Sections, ensuring alignment with the entity’s strategic and operational objectives.
• Ensure continuous availability, reliability, and security IT Infrastructure, networks, systems, and smart applications in accordance with approved SLA’s and Cybersecurity standards.
• Integrate Infrastructure capabilities with application requirements to ensure seamless system performance, scalability, and interoperability.
• Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, backup management, and resilience planning for infrastructure and applications, including periodic testing and reporting.
• Monitor operational performance through KPI’s, and service metrics to ensure efficiency, uptime, incident resolution time, and user satisfaction.
• Govern IT operations, change management, and release management processes to minimize risk and ensure controlled deployment of systems and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maage vendor performance, technology controls, and service agreements to ensure value for money, service quality, and technological advancement.
• Lead incident response and major issue resolution, ensuring root cause analysis and implementation of preventive corrective actions.
• Supervise user support services, system training, and adoption initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and digital maturity.
• Prepare operational reports for executive leadership covering system performance, risks, Infrastructure health, project status, and improvement initiative.
