Job description
We’re looking for a senior technology leader to take ownership of the systems and platforms supporting a complex financial and investment environment.
This is a strategic leadership role covering technology across Finance, Treasury, Tax and Investment functions, including financial ERP systems, EPM, treasury platforms, market intelligence tools and private equity and venture investment analytics.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to understand their priorities, shape the technology roadmap and make sure the platforms supporting these functions are secure, reliable and able to scale.
What you'll be doingOwn the technology strategy and roadmap across financial, treasury and investment applications.
Manage key technology vendors, including commercial negotiations, licensing, service levels and long-term platform strategy.
Oversee governance across financial systems, including change management, releases, security, controls and audit readiness.
Lead and develop application administration and ERP support teams, ensuring strong operational processes and effective incident management.
Work closely with senior leaders across Finance, Treasury, Tax and Portfolio Management as a trusted technology partner.
Identify opportunities to improve, consolidate and modernise the technology landscape across the wider financial and investment function.
10+ years' experience in enterprise technology, including significant experience in a senior leadership position.
A background within an investment firm, sovereign wealth fund, corporate treasury environment, financial institution or similarly complex organisation would be highly relevant.
Strong experience across enterprise financial technology, including ERP, EPM and Treasury Management Systems.
Exposure to market data platforms, investment systems or private equity / venture portfolio technology would be an advantage.
Strong experience managing enterprise software vendors, commercial agreements and technology partners.
Good understanding of IT service management, governance, security and regulatory requirements within a financial environment.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
PMP, ITIL or relevant ERP certifications would be beneficial.
