The Functional Lead will lead the business and functional workstream for a Facility Management Digital Transformation program involving the implementation of the Facilio platform and its integration with SAP enterprise systems. The role will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing processes, defining functional solutions, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams. Acting as the key link between business and technology, the Functional lead will drive workshops, document requirements, manage project delivery, and oversee end-to-end business processes across Facility Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, and related SAP functions.

The role will ensure that business needs are translated into clear functional specifications, integration requirements, and implementation plans. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Facility Management operations, SAP-enabled business processes, business analysis, and project delivery, with the ability to manage stakeholders, coordinate multiple vendors, and drive successful project outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline. This is a 12-month FTC.

• Lead project planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, governance reporting, and risk/issue management.
• Gather and document business requirements from FM, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, HR, and other stakeholders.
• Define and optimize business processes for Asset Management, Maintenance, Work Orders, Service Requests, Helpdesk, Vendors, Inventory, and SLA/KPI management.
• Prepare BRDs, FRSs, process maps, user stories, use cases, and other functional documentation.
• Act as the primary person between client stakeholders, Facilio, SAP teams, integration teams, and project leadership
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions leveraging Facilio, SAP, and related enterprise applications.
• Define integration requirements, data mappings, master data governance, and end-to-end business processes across SAP and Facilio.
• Facilitate design workshops, solution reviews, and business decision-making sessions.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, business sign-off, and deployment readiness activities.
• Support change management, training, business adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Facility Management, CAFM, IWMS, CMMS, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or Digital Transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading business analysis, process design, requirements management, and software implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Facility Management operations including:
  • Preventive Maintenance

  • Vendor Management
  • SLA & KPI Monitoring
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and enterprise application landscapes.
• Experience working with SAP functional teams and integrated business processes.
• Experience defining integration requirements between SAP and external enterprise platforms.
• Experience preparing BRDs, FRSs, process maps, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Proven experience managing stakeholder workshops and cross-functional project teams.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and business sign-off processes.
