Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the banking and financial services sector to lead Agile delivery teams and drive the successful execution of digital, regulatory, and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, promote Agile best practices, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Remove blockers and manage dependencies to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, and delivery metrics, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
- Drive banking transformation, digitalization, and regulatory initiatives through Agile delivery frameworks.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and high team performance.
- Prepare and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience handling banking projects such as Core Banking, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Credit, Risk, or Compliance initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, or similar Agile tools.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and governance frameworks.
- Experience managing multiple Agile teams and large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities.
Notice Period Preference: Immediate to 30 days preferred.
