We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Resident Engineer – Fortinet Solutions to join Insoft Services on a full-time, 12-month contract basis starting November 2026 in Abu Dhabi. In this critical client-facing cybersecurity engineering role, you will be responsible for providing full-time onsite deployment, operational support, troubleshooting, and expert guidance across Fortinet’s core security technologies. The ideal candidate will bring proven enterprise experience with Forti Gate, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager, strong client communication skills, and a background in on-site resident engineering engagements.

As a Resident Engineer – Fortinet Solutions at Insoft Services in Abu Dhabi, you will serve as the primary on‑site technical authority embedded at the client’s premises. Your daily responsibilities will encompass designing, implementing, and managing advanced Fortinet security solutions, providing day‑to‑day operational support, executing rapid incident triage, and managing escalations. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholder teams to ensure seamless technology integration, deliver formal knowledge transfer sessions, and maintain rigorous operational documentation.

• Design, implement, configure, and manage comprehensive Fortinet security solutions within client premises.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, real-time monitoring, and expert troubleshooting for security infrastructure.
• Act as the primary local point of contact for security incidents, alerts, and operational escalations.
• Collaborate proactively with client IT teams to ensure smooth deployment, integration, and policy tuning.
• Deliver structured knowledge transfer, technical guidance, and mentoring to client staff.
• Author, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Administer and tune core Fortinet platforms including Forti Gate firewalls, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager.
• Support advanced security modules and integrations such as Forti Mail and FortiSIEM where required.
• Conduct periodic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
• Ensure strict adherence to enterprise security policies, SLAs, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional network security engineering and firewall administration experience.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Fortinet core technologies:
  Forti Gate, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Manager.
• Demonstrated background in enterprise-level security deployments, policy tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client interaction and knowledge transfer.
• Prior professional experience in on‑site resident engineer or client-facing consultant roles.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving and crisis management capabilities under tight SLAs.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization:
  Onsite availability in Abu Dhabi starting November 2026.

• Advanced Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE 7 / Network Security Architect or NSE
  8).
• Hands‑on experience with Forti Mail secure email gateways and FortiSIEM security information event management.
• Experience with other enterprise security vendors (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Check Point).
• Familiarity with cloud security integration (AWS/Azure security groups and virtual firewalls).
• Immediate availability for mobilization in Abu Dhabi.
