AI Ops Engineer | Halian | UAE

Position Summary:

Halian is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished AI Ops Engineer with 6+ years of professional engineering experience to join our client team on a full-time, onsite basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE, supporting a large-scale AI and digital transformation program for a leading banking client. In this specialized artificial intelligence operations and MLOps role, you will spearhead managing enterprise AI platforms, LLMOps pipelines, continuous integration and deployment governance, and production observability.

You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, cloud architects, and banking stakeholders to ensure robust, secure, and reliable AI services. Ideal candidates bring a robust academic background in computer science or engineering, deep practical mastery of LLMOps, CI/CD automation, and immediate availability (immediate to 30 days preferred).

As an AI Ops Engineer at Halian in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full ownership of operating, maintaining, and scaling enterprise AI platforms and large language model operations (LLMOps) infrastructure within a premier banking environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass managing CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub Actions, release automation, and deployment governance for AI models, configuring comprehensive production monitoring, observability, telemetry dashboards, and incident support.

You will collaborate with cloud-native platform teams to manage API management, reliability engineering, operational readiness, AI Fin Ops, cost optimization, model governance, and change management controls. • Lead end-to-end operations, deployment governance, and lifecycle management for enterprise AI platforms, LLMOps, and MLOps systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub Actions workflows, release automation, and deployment gates.
• Configure and manage comprehensive monitoring, observability, telemetry streams, and production support dashboards.
• Support cloud-native platforms, API management, reliability engineering (SRE), and operational readiness frameworks.
• Drive AI Fin Ops initiatives, cloud cost optimization, model governance, change management, and release controls.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and banking IT stakeholders in Abu Dhabi.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents, model inference bottlenecks, and pipeline failures with rapid root-cause analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to enterprise security baselines, data privacy standards, and financial regulatory compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment architecture diagrams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technology roadmap planning for enterprise artificial intelligence.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of professional software engineering and Dev Ops/Platform operations experience, with specific focus on AI operations.
• Deep specialized expertise in AI Ops, LLMOps, MLOps, and enterprise AI platform operations.
• Proven practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub Actions, release automation, and deployment governance.
• Strong expertise in production monitoring, observability tools, telemetry collection, and dashboarding.
