Mastek is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Oracle Financial Fusion Functional
- Principal Specialist / Solution Architect with 10 to 15 years of comprehensive financial systems experience to join our client delivery team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this specialized Oracle ERP architecture and financial systems leadership role, you will spearhead designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Financials solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with cross-functional controllers, financial analysts, technical developers, and executive client stakeholders to drive end-to-end Fusion implementations, architect scalable accounting modules, and deliver transformative financial transparency.
Ideal candidates bring a strong academic background in finance, accounting, or information technology, deep practical mastery of Oracle Fusion Financials suites across a minimum of 5 end-to-end implementations, and immediate or short-notice availability for deployment in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description:
As an Oracle Financial Fusion Functional
- Principal Specialist / Solution Architect at Mastek in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full ownership of architecting and delivering enterprise-grade Oracle Fusion Financial Management solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass leading financial solution design workshops, configuring Oracle Fusion Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Cash Management, Project Costing), mapping financial workflows to standard Oracle best practices, and overseeing end-to-end implementation life cycles.
You will guide technical integration teams, manage financial data migrations, resolve complex accounting anomalies, and ensure rigorous compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and corporate governance. Working in a fast-paced global consulting environment welcoming international applicants, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior financial leadership.
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials solution architecture, design, and functional implementation across enterprise accounts.
- Conduct comprehensive financial blueprint workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and gap-fit analyses for finance modules.
- Configure, test, and deploy Oracle Fusion Financial modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and FAH.
- Translate complex corporate accounting policies and financial reporting requirements into robust Oracle Fusion solution architectures.
- Oversee financial data conversion strategies, chart of accounts design, subledger accounting (SLA) rules, and tax configurations.
- Provide tier-3 functional leadership and expert guidance to cross-functional technical development and integration teams.
- Collaborate closely with Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), corporate controllers, and financial stakeholders in Abu Dhabi.
- Troubleshoot complex functional anomalies, configure approval hierarchies, and optimize financial closing cycles.
- Ensure strict adherence to project delivery milestones, budgetary constraints, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Professional accounting qualification like CA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred).
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of professional IT consulting experience specializing in Oracle Financial applications.
- Proven implementation track record with a minimum of 5 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation projects.
- Deep functional expertise across core Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
- Strong understanding of international financial accounting standards (IFRS), statutory reporting, and multi-currency reconciliations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, solution presentation, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Professional availability for deployment in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Candidates from outside UAE are welcome to apply; immediate joiners preferred).
Skills:
- Professional certifications such as Oracle Cloud Financials Certified Implementation Professional.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), PaaS extensions, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) integration, and financial reporting center (FRC).
