As a Senior Platform Engineer at Quantum Talent Group in Abu Dhabi, you will serve as the principal technical authority responsible for architecting, deploying, and supporting resilient enterprise infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing customer infrastructure solutions, automating deployment workflows using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef, and managing monitoring and observability platforms including Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix. You will lead small‑to‑medium technical engagements, provide expert troubleshooting across VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, HCX, and SRM, and collaborate closely with client stakeholders.

• Design, deploy, and implement modern customer infrastructure solutions across private, public, and hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Administer and scale enterprise VMware infrastructure, Linux operating systems, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized workloads.
• Develop and execute infrastructure automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability solutions utilizing Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
• Lead small to medium‑scale technical engagements, client workshops, and professional services delivery projects.
• Provide expert consulting, architecture guidance, and hands‑on technical problem‑solving for enterprise clients.
• Support advanced virtualized platforms including VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, HCX, and Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
• Ensure strict adherence to enterprise security baselines, high availability standards, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Collaborate proactively with cross‑functional engineering teams, project managers, and client stakeholders.
• Author comprehensive architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and infrastructure runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to consulting, professional services, or customer delivery.
• Strong hands‑on technical proficiency in VMware virtualization, enterprise Linux administration, and Kubernetes containerization.
• Proven practical experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands‑on experience implementing monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix.
• Strong communication, client‑facing, and presentation skills with the ability to lead technical engagements.
• Outstanding analytical problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
