Quantum Talent Group is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Data Scientist with a strong background in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to join our client project team on an urgent 12-month contract basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE, open to candidates who are already based in the UAE only. In this specialized data science and artificial intelligence role, you will spearhead developing predictive models, processing complex datasets, and extracting actionable business insights to drive enterprise decision-making.
You will work closely with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to formulate data-driven solutions and deploy machine learning models into production. Ideal candidates bring a robust academic background in statistics, mathematics, or computer science, deep practical mastery of Python machine learning libraries, and immediate availability for deployment in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
As a Data Scientist at Quantum Talent Group in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will take full ownership of designing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models across complex business domains. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass cleaning and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets, engineering predictive features, building classification, regression, and clustering algorithms, and visualizing insights for executive stakeholders. You will leverage Python data science stacks (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-Learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch), collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines, and ensure robust model validation.
Working in a fast-paced client-facing environment requiring UAE residency for a 12-month contract, you will translate ambiguous business problems into rigorous mathematical and computational solutions.
- Design, train, evaluate, and deploy advanced machine learning models and predictive analytics algorithms.
- Analyze complex large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to discover hidden patterns, trends, and insights.
- Perform rigorous exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, data cleaning, and statistical validation.
- Build, tune, and optimize classification, regression, clustering, and natural language processing models.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers to design scalable data pipelines, feature stores, and data ingestion workflows.
- Partner with business stakeholders and product managers to translate strategic objectives into quantitative data science solutions.
- Utilize Python data science and machine learning frameworks including Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-Learn, Tensor Flow, and PyTorch.
- Create compelling data visualizations, executive dashboards, and technical reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Monitor model accuracy, performance drift, and retraining schedules in collaboration with MLOps engineering teams.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, model experiment tracking logs, and analytical methodology reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or quantitative machine learning engineer.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
- Deep practical expertise across core machine learning algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, Neural Networks, SVMs).
- Solid mastery of Python data science and deep learning libraries (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-Learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, probability, and experimental design (A/B testing).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, data storytelling, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
- Professional availability for a 12-month contract engagement in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Candidates based in UAE only).
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with published research in machine learning or AI.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, transformer architectures, and vector search embeddings.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS Snowflake, Big Query, Azure Databricks) and big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
