Cybersecurity Technical Lead
We are looking for a senior, hands-on Cybersecurity Technical Lead to join Taaeen for a 10-week cybersecurity engagement with a prestigious UAE federal government entity in Abu Dhabi
.
This is not a high-level advisory role
. We need someone technically strong who can lead and contribute directly to the assessment, analysis, reporting and final handover.
The engagement covers a comprehensive security assessment across approximately 100 servers, 60 network devices, 300 endpoints, Microsoft 365 E5, Azure/Entra , cloud services, backup & disaster recovery systems, and security and monitoring platforms

- Strong hands-on experience in cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability management and security architecture
- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 E5, Azure and Entra
- Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and Microsoft security frameworks
- Experience assessing servers, networks, endpoints, IAM, cloud environments, backup/DR and security operations
- Ability to lead technical assessment activities, analyse findings, develop risk registers and produce practical remediation recommendations
- Previous experience working on government, regulated or large enterprise cybersecurity engagements
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability
- Full professional bilingual capability in Arabic and English is mandatory
- Must be able to speak, read and write Arabic and English fluently
, including the ability to review and prepare professional and technical documentation in both languages - Availability to commit to the full 10-week engagement
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi as required
