Overall Purpose
To protect FAA’s information systems and digital assets by supporting the implementation of effective cybersecurity controls, managing information security risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor information security risks and vulnerabilities, support cybersecurity policies and controls, manage and respond to security incidents, ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations, coordinate with IT teams to address security issues, support security awareness activities, and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field2–7 years of relevant Information Security / Cybersecurity experienceCISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications are required depending on the role requirements
Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and ISR is preferred
