What We're Looking For- 10+ years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with significant experience in banking or financial services.
- Proven banking procurement experience, preferably within a UAE or GCC banking environment.
- Demonstrated diversified procurement experience across IT/Technology as well as other indirectand corporate procurement categories.
- Strong understanding of the banking industry, financial services ecosystem, technology landscape and evolving market trends.
- Broad industry knowledge with the ability to benchmark practices, suppliers, commercial modelsand emerging solutions across industries.
- Strong hands-on experience in IT and technology procurement.
- Good understanding of cloud, SaaS, software licensing, cybersecurity, infrastructure,telecommunications and IT services.
- Proven experience in complex commercial negotiations, contract management and strategicvendor management.
- Strong understanding of procurement governance, third-party risk, supplier due diligence and regulatory requirements within banking.
- Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across technology, business, risk, finance, legaland compliance functions.
- Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology or a related discipline is required.
- CIPS, CPSM or equivalent professional procurement certification is preferred.
