We are seeking an experienced Senior Well Data Solutions Architect to support enterprise well data, drilling data, and digital oilfield initiatives within a leading upstream oil & gas environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and supporting well data management, integration, and governance solutions that enable efficient data utilization across drilling, well engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement well data architecture and integration solutions.
- Support the management, quality, governance, and accessibility of well and drilling data.
- Lead data integration initiatives across engineering, operational, and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Support digital transformation and data modernization projects.
- Develop and maintain data workflows, standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot data quality and system integration issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on well data management strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in oil & gas data management, digital solutions, or enterprise data architecture.
- Strong understanding of well and drilling data workflows.
- Experience designing and supporting data integration solutions and enterprise data environments.
- Knowledge of industry data exchange standards and real-time operational data environments.
- Experience with data quality management, governance, and master data initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Well lifecycle data management.
- Drilling and well engineering systems.
- Data integration, interoperability, and API-based solutions.
- Real-time operational data environments.
- Cloud, analytics, and digital transformation projects.
- Agile project delivery and solution architecture experience.
