We are currently hiring on behalf of a leading bank in Sharjah for the following role.
- Reports To: IT Governance & Compliance Manager
- Contract: 1 year, renewable
- Remuneration: AED 18,000 to 20,000 per month
- Visa & Insurance: UAE employment visa and health insurance provided for the candidate only
- Nationality: Open to all
Purpose:
Support the implementation of the IT Governance Framework by coordinating IT compliance, audit management, policy governance and regulatory requirements, ensuring audit observations are remediated on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as focal point between IT and Group Internal Audit for internal and external audits
- Track audit observations, remediation plans, evidence and timely closure
- Develop and maintain IT governance policies, standards, procedures and SOPs
- Coordinate compliance with CBUAE regulations and internal governance standards
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of the IT Governance Framework
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 20000 readiness, implementation and certification
- Prepare governance and compliance reporting for IT-Management and the IT-Steering Committee
- Review identity access governance, including provisioning and deprovisioning controls
- Perform governance reviews to identify control gaps and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with Risk, Information Security, Operational Risk, PMO and business stakeholders
- Support ESG related governance activities and promote governance awareness across IT
IT Audit Action Tracker, Audit Status Reports, IT Policy & SOP Repository, Compliance Dashboard, Governance Review Reports, Regulatory Compliance Tracker, ISO Readiness Documentation and ITSC Governance Reports.
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Business or a related field
- 5 to 8 years in IT Governance, IT Compliance, IT Audit or Risk Management
- Banking or financial services experience preferred
- Working knowledge of COBIT and ITIL
- Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO 27001, CISA or CRISC are desirable
- Strong analytical, report writing, stakeholder management and communication skills
