SAP Integration Consultant - SAP CPI/BTP

Key Accountabilities:
- Design, build and support integrations across SAP (S/4
HANA, BTP) and non-SAP systems on SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and PI/PO - Translate business and solution design requirements into integration specifications, interface designs and mapping documents
- Lead the migration of PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, including assessment, redesign and cutover planning
- Define and apply integration standards, patterns, naming conventions and reusable components
- Make sure all interfaces are secure, scalable and monitored, with proper error handling and alerting
- Present integration designs to the Architecture Review Board and align with enterprise architecture principles
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and drive permanent fixes
- Work with functional consultants, ABAP/BTP developers and third‑party vendors on end‑to‑end delivery
- Prepare technical documentation, test scenarios and handover material for support teams
- Mentor junior integration developers and review their work
- 8+ years in SAP integration, with at least 3–4 years hands‑on in SAP CPI / Integration Suite
- Strong delivery background in SAP PI/PO (ESR, , adapter configuration, BPM)
- At least 2 end‑to‑end SAP implementation or upgrade projects, ideally including S/4
HANA - Proven experience migrating interfaces from PI/PO to CPI
- Experience integrating SAP with third‑party platforms (CRM, PLM, banking, eInvoicing, logistics, government portals)
- Exposure to multi‑entity or large enterprise environments; defense, manufacturing or regulated industries preferred
- SAP Integration Suite:
Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh - Adapters and protocols: IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST/OData, SFTP, AS2, JDBC, JMS
- Groovy scripting, JavaScript, XSLT, graphical and message mapping
- Security: OAuth, certificates, PGP encryption, SAP Cloud Connector, principal propagation
- SAP BTP fundamentals (Cloud Foundry, subaccounts, destinations)
- Monitoring and operations: CPI monitoring, PI/PO RWB/NWA, Cloud ALM integration monitoring
- Working knowledge of ABAP for IDoc/RFC/proxy troubleshooting
- Strong documentation, stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills
- SAP Integration Suite certification preferred
