Halian is seeking an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience managing production environments, building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing modern Dev Ops practices. Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates and be available to join immediately.
The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud-based Dev Ops solutions. Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and automation scripting is essential, while exposure to Azure/AKS and the Banking, Fin Tech, or Insurance sectors will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for production environments.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Terraform.
- Administer Linux servers, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, deployments, and production environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Integrate AI and LLM technologies into Dev Ops workflows, automation, and CI/CD processes.
- 6+ years of hands‑on Dev Ops experience supporting live production environments.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD with end-to-end ownership of build, release, and deployment pipelines.
- Proven production experience with Terraform, including modules, remote state management, and state locking.
- Hands‑on Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes administration experience.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.
- Practical experience using AI/LLMs within Dev Ops workflows and automation.
- Candidates must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates.
- Immediate availability is mandatory.
- Azure/AKS exposure and Banking, Fin Tech, or Insurance industry experience will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of:
- CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops automation.
- Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.
- Bash, Python scripting, and AI-powered Dev Ops workflows.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
