  • Support recurring KPI reporting and maintain simple Power BI and Tableau dashboards under guidance.
  • Check calculations, refresh outputs and explain trends, assumptions and limitations in business-friendly language.
  • Analyse service performance, customer experience and process efficiency; distinguish evidence from assumptions and recommend proportionate next steps.

  • Support UAT: prepare test cases, record defects, retest fixes and capture stakeholder feedback.
  • Coordinate with business users and Digital & Technology colleagues to track actions and dependencies.

Essential qualifications and skills
  • Relevant degree in business, information systems, data analytics, computer science, statistics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical training and demonstrable analytical experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant business-analysis, reporting, operations or data-analysis experience, including internships, placements or substantial academic projects; explain contributions and lessons learned.
  • Practical Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data-quality checks.
  • Basic SQL skills for selecting, filtering, joining and aggregating data.
  • Familiarity with Power BI reports and visualisations.
  • Foundational Tableau knowledge for simple reports and dashboards.

  • Relevant coursework, a small analytics portfolio or foundational data or business-analysis certification.
Core competencies:
  • Analytical curiosity, structured problem-solving, accuracy and sound judgement.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, own agreed tasks and learn from feedback.
  • Show a service mindset and respect confidentiality.
  • Ask questions and escalation uncertainty rather than present unchecked information as fact.
Indicative success measures:
  • Deliver useful reporting to agreed schedules, reconciled with approved sources.
  • Confirm clear, traceable requirements and KPI definitions with stakeholders; make assumptions and limitations visible.
  • Identify, document and follow through on data-quality issues with the relevant owners.
